Online Jobs Available?

I am wondering if there are such things as online jobs, jobs one could do right from home. The reason I'm asking is that my parents and I have been very busily searching for something else I can do. I've worked with probably about three different job counselors, and I called another but never got to work with him. The rehab agency here is utterly clueless, and it appears that they only take clients who live within strict boundaries of the agency. So other than this part-time position and the Hadley courses, I'm stumped. Ideas anyone?

What skills do you have? It's probably better to try and match those with possible jobs than to just look for them randomly.

After Thursday, I will be in the job market myself. Does anyone know if there are any customer service type things one could do from home over the internet?

I'm sure there are, I don't know where you would find them though. But I know they're out there. Try searching on Google maybe. Lol. You've probably ralready done that.

i myself just got laid off as of yesterday; and I too would love to know. I have found a few phone things and of course some selling companies, but other than that, I don't know. ummmm ... I'm really kind of discouraged myself about it.

Well, I will tell you right now. If you are looking for a legit home business you most likely will have to sell something, therefore you will need to be able to read at a certain speed as you will be telemarketing to customers. However, the other thing that you do want to look out for is the fact that home businesses can be great scams if done cleverly, so if you do ever decide to take up a home based business, make sure always, that the company they are affiliated with has the bbb seal.
